Fused Glass Workshop - 10am Saturday 22nd Feb

Come and join us for a fused glass making workshop for you to experience the art of working with glass and creating a choice of suncatcher, colourful glass to display in a wooden stand or a glass heart on a splint. 

This class is suitable for total beginners – no experience is required. We will provide you with all the products and tools needed during this workshop. Julie will take you through the whole process included how fused glass works, all the various options you have working with this medium. 

Please ensure you wear closed shoes to protect from any injuries and avoid wearing anything that drapes. Remember, you will be cutting glass which can break and cause injury if not careful. 

Finished pieces will be kiln dried and available for collection from the shop within 2 weeks of following the workshop. 

The workshops are taught by fused glass hobbyist Julie Benton.

• Workshop will last approx 2 hrs
• All glass and tools
• Finished piece of fused glass to take home 2 weeks after the course - Handmade by you.
• Refreshments and cake can be purchased onsite
